The Newfound Technology Department has decided to drop the 2nd most popular Student Information System in the State and Country. The current software, used for storing student grades and other information, currently costs taxpayers $5,707 / year. The new software, yet to be determined, has a budgeted cost of $60,000.
Bow School District is providing high speed computers to it's 1,700 students at a ratio of 3:1 at a yearly cost of $280K. Newfound has a ratio of 6:1 for it's 1,500 students and has requested $650K from taxpayers.
