A planned upgrade to the district’s computer network took a bizarre turn when a secret decision was made to switch to technology developed in the 1960’s.
The cost of heating our schools has seen some wild fluctuations over the past couple of heating seasons. The largest change came in the 2005-2006 season for heating the High School. For that period, oil costs exceeded the budgeted amount by 109%. The district spent $73,210 for oil, an 85% increase over the previous year when $39, 540 was spent.
