  Budget
Since the 1997 the district budget has grown by 102%.  Inflation isn’t to blame and we have fewer students enrolled.  What is the reason for this growth in the budget?
Had we followed the trend of increases that occured between 1997 and 2006 our budget would be $18,567,702 which would be $1,435,274 less than our current proposed budget.*

If we had followed the more conservative approach excercised from 2004 - 2006, our budget would be 2.17 million dollars less.**

In other words, over the past 2 years we have lost control of spending; well in excess of 1 million dollars.

Enrollment

*From 1997 - 2006 the average increase in our budget was 5.89%.
**From 2004 - 2006 the average increase in our budget was 3.85%.
