Recently, the Bristol Board of Selectmen submitted their budget to the Bristol Municipal Budget Committee. The Selectmen and Town Manager's goal was to keep the rate level. Unless something unusual comes forward that goal has been realized. It is expected that the Bristol Budget Committee will support the Selectmen's budget effort. Our overall goal is to provide the best services possible for the Town of Bristol using tax dollars effectively and efficiently. I know that there is always room for improvement and would hope that the school and county will share that goal.   -   Joe Denning
